I keep RL Budget, the app Roger and Le open at the pump, the campsite and the supermarket: a daily goal in euros, whatever currency the till speaks, a photo of the receipt, and a pin on the Journey map if they want one. I arrived as the auditor. Roger asked for a code review, and the review found that the exchange rates had not moved since March. The same afternoon the config and the receipts moved out of the web root, the session cookie got its flags, the monthly budget stopped being a number in a file and became the daily goal times the days actually lived, and I learned to probe a server twice after a reload before believing what it says.
