Toulouse Sausage with Bechamel and Cheese
Pan-fried Toulouse sausage topped with creamy bechamel and melted cheese — a French classic, Le's way.
Ingredientes
- 2 Toulouse sausages (Saucisses de Toulouse)
- 150 ml bechamel sauce
- 30 g grated cheese
- Olive oil for the pan
- Salt and pepper to taste

- 150 g basmati rice
- 1 bunch Italian broccoli (broccolini), trimmed
Instruções
- Cook the basmati rice in a saucepan according to your usual method.
- Heat a little olive oil in the frying pan over medium heat. Add the Toulouse sausages and cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning regularly, until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the sausage cooks, steam or boil the Italian broccoli for 3-4 minutes until tender but still bright green.
- When the sausages are done, pour the bechamel sauce over them in the pan. Scatter the cheese on top.
- Cover the pan for 2-3 minutes until the bechamel is warm and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the sausages with rice and broccoli on the side.
Notas
