Tortellini with Natas & Mushroom Sauce
Meat tortellini in a creamy Portuguese natas sauce with mushrooms and cheese — comfort food in 10 minutes.
Ingredientes
- 1 package meat tortellini
- 200 ml natas
- 1 small can mushrooms, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 30 g grated cheese, plus extra for serving
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instruções
- Boil the tortellini in salted water according to the package. Drain and save a small cup of pasta water.
- While the pasta boils, melt butter in the frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the drained mushrooms and stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the natas. Let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken.
- Toss the tortellini into the sauce. Add the grated cheese and stir gently. If it's too thick, add a splash of pasta water.
- Serve with extra cheese on top.
Notas
